Dataw Island is located six miles east of Beaufort and is surrounded by tidal waters and salt marshes. The island is 870 acres and 1,100 homesites are planned with a variety of views available: golf, lagoon or naturally wooded.

This private community offers a full-service deep-water marina with wet/dry storage, a junior Olympic swimming pool, lighted tennis courts, and 36 holes of championship golf designed by Tom Fazio and Arthur Hills.
